At a very early age, Brian was taught by his parents the importance of working hard, living a frugal lifestyle, and saving and investing for the future. With his father’s guidance, he purchased his first savings bonds at five years old and shares of stock at six years old with money he earned from his neighborhood candy stand. Over time, Brian grew to understand both the risks and benefits associated with investing. Having seen others suffer through events like the “S&L Scandal”, the “dot-com bubble”, the “housing bubble”, the “Great Recession”, among other financial difficulties, he came to feel that risk is not always worth the reward, especially when a family’s future is on the line. Through the years, Brian has come to appreciate how challenging it can be to provide a good living and how frustrating it can also be to watch stock market roller coaster rides impact hard-earned savings. With a degree in business and nearly 30 years as a business owner, he strives to help others protect and grow their wealth while avoiding uncertainty."
